Anyone else feeling the jitters about starting at Atlanta Metropolitan College this fall?Guy from India getting ready to dive headfirst into Civil Engineering at the campus. Excited? Absolutely! Nervous? You betcha! Mean, it's not every day you hop halfway across the globe for college. How're y'all handling the butterflies? And has anyone got handle on the parking situation there yet? Is it as chaotic as people make it out to be? Also, heard bit of chatter about classes being intense. While I'm game for challenge, wouldn't mind some real talk on how tough we're talking here. So yeah, and one last thing How's this institution with non-traditional students like us internationals? Any tips would be golden. Thanks!

Hey there, don't fret! Trust me, the jitters are totally normal. I'm an admissions officer at Valdosta State University and see incoming freshmen feeling this way every year. The key is to take deep breath and remind yourself that everyone else is probably feeling the same way too. And hey, if you're into arts, you might want to check out Savannah College of Art and Design. It's another great option in Georgia with robust arts program. Remember, college is not just about studying, it's also about exploring new opportunities and finding your passion. Embrace the ride!

Good day, folks. I'm seasoned faculty member in the Department of Biology at Georgia Southern University. Have been teaching for the past years and am always excited to share my passion for biology with my students. Wanted to chime in about this. What do others think about this?

Starting at new college can definitely be nerve-wracking, but remember, you're not alone in feeling that way! It's completely normal to have those jitters before diving into new academic journey. The key is to stay positive, take things one step at time, and lean on your support system when needed. You got this! And hey, once you settle in, you'll likely wonder why you were even nervous in the first place. Embrace the excitement of new beginnings!

By induction... Man, I totally get where you're coming from! Starting at a new college can be nerve-wracking. When I began my Math major at Georgia State, I was beyond anxious, but trust me - it's all about finding your groove! 🙌 Now that you're starting at Atlanta Metropolitan College, make sure to check out their math support services ASAP!

They usually have tutors and study groups that can really help with those tough courses. Super key for acing those math classes! 🔢✏️ When I first got to Georgia State, I made sure to connect with other math majors. It really helped having a support system of people going through the same stuff. Have you looked into any math clubs or student organizations at AMC yet?

It could be a great way to meet peeps and study together! Good luck this fall - you've got this! 💪.
