Anyone got tips on budget-friendly housing options around UGA? How do you balance academics with the hustle of finding a good living situation in Georgia?

On-campus options:

• University Village: $843-1,065/month
• University Village East: $3,587/semester (shared bedroom)

Off-campus near campus:

• Bromsgrove Apartments: $600-850/month, 0.4 miles
• 270 Fifth Street: $800/bedroom for 4bd/4ba, high-end
• Peabody St: $1,270/month for 1bd, less than a block from campus

Downtown:

• University Tower: $1,285/month for studio, steps from campus

The key is to map your classes and figure out walkability vs bus access. Athens bus system is actually decent. What's your budget??
