Greetings, community!
I'm a big believer in open-source software, and I'm always looking for tools that are community-driven and completely free (as in freedom and as in beer!). I want to move away from proprietary stuff for my creative projects.
I'm currently trying out a few different options for free writing software that are open source. Manuskript looks incredibly powerful for outlining, though the interface feels a bit dated. Ghostwriter is beautiful for Markdown, and bibisco seems great for novel planning, though I think its free version is limited. Which open-source project do you think is the hidden gem?
Which one has a great community behind it and is actively developed? I'd love to support a project by using it and giving feedback. Let's share the open-source love!
