Did anyone else struggle with balancing part-time work and classes at Wiregrass Technical College?

I'm currently elbow-deep in bioinformatics research over at Georgia State University (loving the big city life in Atlanta), but once upon time was navigating the hustle and bustle of Wiregrass Technical College. Talk about learning curve! Between hitting the books and working part-time, it felt like there were never enough hours in the day.

Was bagging groceries by day, wrestling with calculus problems by night, and guzzling down more caffeine than I'd care to admit. Surely couldn't be the only one feeling this way? Does anyone have stories or tips from their own experience trying to balance part-time work and classes at Wiregrass? Did you find any particular strategies that helped keep your sanity intact? One thing that saved me turning off my phone while studying. It's insane how much those pesky notifications can distract you. I've heard some people swear by the Pomodoro Technique (25 minutes of focused work followed by 5-minute break). How about you guys?

And totally unrelated, but if anyone's had experience with Valdosta State University's Financial Aid Office, I'd love some insight. Currently trying to figure out my options for funding this journey.

Balancing work and classes is no joke, especially at Wiregrass Tech. It's tough, but you got this! Have you tried setting schedule or talking to your professors for support? Remember, it's okay to ask for help when you need it. Hang in there! How are you managing everything?
