A sophomore's review at Perimeter College put into words exactly what I'm afraid of: *"If you're looking for the college experience your really not going to get its here, making friends isn't super difficult but alot of people would say that the friends they made here where just school friends. You'll see people in the student center or library during peak times (10am -3pm) but the majority of people just go to class and go home"* .
As a working adult, I'm not looking for a crazy party scene, but I do want to connect with people. The review mentions you get access to GSU's downtown events, which is a plus . But for those of you who are commuters, how do you build a community? Is it possible to feel like you belong, or is Perimeter purely a place to get a degree and leave?
