1. Understand your loans – UGA professor Kimberly Watkins says most students are "uninformed/misinformed" about loans. Subsidized loans = interest deferred while in school. Unsubsidized = interest accrues NOW. Know the difference!

2. Get a campus job – UGA employs ~5000 students. Check Handshake, Dining Services, Ramsey, Housing. Best part? They work around your class schedule.
