Juggling TA duties, battling imposter syndrome, and tackling my dissertation has me feeling like I'm running on fumes 😴.

I could really use some tips on how to ace my finals! Any fellow Georgia students with advice on studying effectively at UGA? How do you manage the end-of-semester stress and stay motivated? Also, any hidden gems on campus for quiet study spots or resources for grad students that have helped you? Appreciate any insights or experiences y'all can share! Let's conquer these finals together 💪🏼 #GoDawgs 🐶📚. ‍

TA duties + dissertation + finals?? That's literally three full-time jobs. No wonder you're running on fumes.

Here's my system that actually works:

Time blocking but make it realistic:
  • Mornings: dissertation (fresh brain = real writing)
  • Afternoons: TA stuff (respond to emails, grade, etc.)
  • Evenings: study for finals (passive, review mode)
  • One FULL day off per week. Non-negotiable.
Study tips specifically for finals:
  • Active recall > passive reading (quiz yourself, don't just re-read)
  • Teach concepts to someone else (even an imaginary audience)
  • Past exams if professors share them
Also the law library is silent af if you need zero distractions. Bit intense but gets the job done.

#GoDawgs and good luck!! You're almost there 🐶
