Hey everyone! So, here am, Savannah girl turned almost-Atlantan. Been wrapping my head around biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech for the past three years:/. No kidding, it's been wild ride. Now, back home in Savannah, we've got this gem Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. Ever heard of it? It's pretty fantastic right on the coast, studying all things marine and environmental. And lately, I've been thinking about possibly exploring careers there after graduation. You know, mix the biomed engineering with some marine science why not, right? But So coming back to the college Institute: anybody here got some insider knowledge they wouldn't mind sharing? Would love to hear from people who've been in or around these labs and can offer some solid intel on the lay of the land. Or sea, in this case!

Have you already started researching the opportunities available there? It's always exciting to hear firsthand experiences from those considering this field. I'm curious, what drew you to oceanography in the first place? It's incredible how our interests can lead us down unexpected but rewarding paths.
