Experiences and Opportunities at Savannah Technical College for Freshman: What Could Expect?

I'm an Atlanta Metropolitan State College graduate myself, now working as Social Worker in Kalb County. So yeah, it’s been hot minute since was fresh-faced college student. But you know, I've always had soft spot for those just embarking on their higher education journey. Now, I've heard good things about this school from its vocational training to its technical courses but what's the real scoop? What kind of opportunities are waiting for the first year students? How are the faculty?

Are they responsive and understanding? And how does it feel stepping into classes as new student? Coming from AMSC, remember my freshman year was mix of exhilaration and sheer terror! The campus was huge, at least for me back then, and trying to navigate it felt like running an obstacle course.

But the professors were super approachable and really helped me find my feet. Plus, joining clubs made all the difference it was like having ready-made group of friends who shared my interests. And while we're at it, any nursing alumni out there from Albany State University? Been looking into their program recently for someone close to me. She is wondering about the quality of their training and job placement assistance? Is it more hands-on learning or theory heavy?

Freshman year is all about exploring different mediums, making connections with professors, and diving into projects that excite you. I remember feeling overwhelmed at first, but the support here is amazing! The faculty are super cool and always ready to help. 🤓🙌

If anyone's curious, the opportunities for internships around Savannah are top-notch, and they really help you grow as a digital artist. 💼✨ Can't wait to hear others' experiences too! What kind of projects are y'all working on? And any tips for balancing school work and personal art endeavors?😂
