I've been checking daily for updates on spring practice, and while the official dates aren't fully locked in yet, we finally have a pretty clear picture of what to expect. According to the Athens Banner-Herald, Georgia typically begins spring practice the Tuesday after the university's spring break, which this year falls on Tuesday, March 17 . The Bulldogs usually follow a Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday practice schedule for their 15 spring sessions, so we should see a steady rhythm of practices through late March and early April.

The big question mark right now is G-Day, the annual spring game. Athletic director Josh Brooks recently addressed this and wasn't able to confirm whether the spring game will happen this year . 'We'll see,' Brooks said. 'Everything on that end is building and making those decisions work. We're kinda just getting through the (transfer) portal now and we'll see.' With all the changes in college football—transfer portal windows, recruiting calendars, NIL—some programs are rethinking whether spring games make sense anymore .

If G-Day does happen, the most likely date is Saturday, April 18, which would follow the typical 4-5 week practice window . Sanford Stadium is set to host a concert on April 25 with Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, and Zach Top, so that date is out . Another key date to watch is Pro Day on Wednesday, March 12, where NFL scouts will evaluate Georgia's draft-eligible players .

This spring is especially exciting because we'll get our first look at quarterback Gunner Stockton as the full-time starter following Carson Beck's departure . The Bulldogs also brought in eight transfer additions who will participate in spring practice, including Georgia Tech wide receiver Isiah Canion and Auburn defensive end Amaris Williams . New offensive line coach Phil Rauscher will be installing his system, so there's plenty to watch.

I'll be keeping an eye on the official athletics site for confirmation. Hope G-Day happens—I always look forward to that first glimpse of the team in Sanford Stadium! Go Dawgs! 🏈🐶

Yesss, finally some football talk on here! 🏈🐶 I've been starving for updates. March 17 can't come soon enough—I need to see Gunner Stockton slinging it as QB1. The Beck era was solid, but something about Stockton feels different, you know?

Really hoping G-Day happens April 18. I get why programs are rethinking spring games with the portal chaos, but Sanford Stadium empty just feels wrong. Also, that concert lineup April 25? Chef's kiss. Go Dawgs! ❤️🖤
