Columbus State: Two campuses, one river, and a whole lot of potential.

We have two main campuses: the main one in midtown Columbus, and the RiverPark campus right on the Chattahoochee River downtown. They're totally different vibes.

The main campus is traditional—green spaces, dorms, classrooms, the usual. It's where most of the action is.

The RiverPark campus is where the arts live. It's in renovated buildings downtown, right on the river. The visual arts and music buildings are there. Walking to class along the river is surreal. And being downtown means coffee shops, restaurants, and a real city feel.

The programs that shine: Nursing and education are strong. But the arts programs (especially music) are legit. The Schwob School of Music has an incredible facility and faculty.

Columbus itself is underrated. It's big enough to have stuff to do (whitewater rafting on the river! a downtown! museums!) but small enough to not be overwhelming. And it's cheap—cost of living is way lower than Atlanta.

We're growing. New buildings, new programs, more students. It feels like a school on the move.

If you want a smaller feel, a beautiful river setting, and strong arts programs, look at CSU. Any other Cougars here?

The Schwob School of Music is the real deal. People don't realize we have a world-class music facility right here in Columbus. The faculty are legit performers, the acoustics in Legacy Hall are incredible, and being downtown means you're steps from the RiverCenter for performances.

Also, the whitewater course on the river is an Olympic training site. Like, actual Olympians train there. And we can just... go rafting whenever. That's wild.

The main campus is more traditional but also has its charm. The new student center is really nice. And honestly, having two campuses gives you options—quiet study on main, artsy coffee vibes downtown.
