Folks, just history professor from Mercer here, tryin' to wrap my head around the dual enrollment opportunities at Gwinnett Tech. I've been in this biz for over years and it seems like every time blink, higher education is changing! Back in my day, it was just high school then college. Any of you have firsthand experience with Gwinnett's dual enrollment program? Is it all it’s cracked up to be? What are some pros and cons you ran into? I'm particularly interested in how the college atmosphere affects younger students does it make 'em grow up too fast, or does it give them necessary reality check? Be as candid as possible. As prof, trust me, can handle it! By the way, anyone here made the move from Mercer to Georgia Tech's engineering program?
