At West GA Technical College, currently journalism major at the University of Georgia, and I'm considering transferring to West Technical College. Any tips on adjusting to new school like West Tech? It's always nerve-wracking switching campuses, right? I've heard that getting involved in clubs and student organizations is great way to meet new people at West Tech. Have any of you tried that? Also, how's the campus vibe there compared to larger universities like UGA? On another note, I'm also curious about dorm life at UGA. Any recommendations on the best dorms? I've been eyeing few options but would love some insider info from fellow students. Basically, Adjusting to new school can be intimidating but also exciting.

Hey there! 😊 Adjusting to a new school can definitely be challenging, but it can also be super exciting! When I transferred schools last year, I found that getting involved in clubs or student organizations helped me meet people and feel more at home. West Technical College sounds awesome!

As a Journalism major, have you looked into their campus media outlets or writing opportunities? In my experience here in Georgia, the support services at schools really make a difference. Don't hesitate to reach out to advisors or counselors if you need help navigating the new environment. They're there to support us students!

Do you know if West Tech has any journalism-related clubs or internships? It could be a great way to dive into your major and make connections early on. Good luck with your transfer!
