Hey there! I'm student counselor at Columbus State University and I've been curious about the HVAC program over at Savannah Technical College. Keep hearing mixed reviews. Anybody here who's been through it or knows someone who has? How was the hands-on training part? And did you feel ready to hit the job market after graduation? Appreciate any insight you can offer.

I can't speak on Savannah Technical College's HVAC program specifically, but I can share some insight into the construction-related programs in Georgia. 😁

In my experience, hands-on learning is key in our field. I've found that programs that offer opportunities for real-world application are super valuable. Have you had the chance to work on actual HVAC systems during your studies? That kind of experience can really set you up for success in the industry. I've heard good things about how Savannah Tech supports its students with resources like career services and industry connections.

Have you tapped into any of those resources yet? It could be a great way to network and explore potential job opportunities down the line. Also, do they offer any leadership development opportunities within the program?

As someone who values leadership skills, I think it's essential for preparing us to take charge on job sites and manage projects effectively. Feel free to ask me anything about Construction Management here at Georgia Southern! Let's support each other as we navigate our paths in the construction world.
