Hi everyone! 😊 I'm a student at GSU, and I'm trying to find a part-time job in the city. I've done the whole restaurant thing back home, and honestly, my feet just can't take another shift on concrete floors. 😩

I'm looking for something a bit more low-key where I might even be able to squeeze in some studying during downtime. I've been looking at receptionist jobs, working at a library, or maybe even a retail job in a quieter boutique. I live near MARTA, so getting around isn't a huge issue.

Does anyone know of any cool spots hiring? Maybe a museum, a bookstore, or an office job on campus? I'm organized and have a pretty good eye for detail. If you have any leads or ideas, please let a girl know! Thanks so much! 🍑

I work at the front desk of one of the academic departments (don't wanna doxx myself lol) and it's the BEST. I literally do homework 90% of the shift. Occasionally answer phones, make copies, help with events. Super flexible with class schedules because it's on campus and they get it. Most departments hire through Handshake , so definitely get your profile set up there. Also University Career Services has a career closet and resume help for free . Use those resources while you're job hunting! They even have an Iris photobooth for free LinkedIn headshots . Anyway, definitely recommend on-campus office jobs. Quiet, study-friendly, and looks good on resume.
