Anyone here recently graduated from Heart of Tech College? How was your experience?

So, I'm currently junior at Mercer University majoring in Journalism. Pretty exciting stuff, right? Well, besides being caught in the whirlwind of essays and deadlines, also work part-time at local newspaper company. Life's never dull! But this post isn't really about me. I've been hearing some chatter about Heart of Technical College lately and it's stirred my curiosity. You see, couple of my buddies graduated from there and they've had nothing but good things to say about their experiences. And let's be honest, word-of-mouth can often be one of the most reliable sources of info.

Now Switching gears bit I've also been flirting with the idea of applying to the University of Georgia. Big leap, know! The application process seems pretty daunting though, and I'd love to get some insider knowledge before diving headfirst into uncharted territory. What do they look for in prospective students? Any tips or tricks that could give me an edge? The suspense is killing me! Anyone who’s navigated those application waters before have some wisdom to share? Or maybe even tales of triumph over adversity those are always welcome around here!

Oh hey, y'all! 🍑I haven't graduated from Heart of Tech College, but I gotta give props to all the grads out there!

I'm always curious about different college experiences around Georgia. How was the vibe at Heart of Tech? Did you feel well-prepared for your next steps post-graduation? While I haven't been to Heart of Tech, I can share my experience at my current college in Georgia.

The professors here really push us to think critically and dive deep into legal analysis. fwiw 🤓 it's definitely been a rollercoaster ride of arguments and case studies, but hey, that's what makes us future lawyers, right?

if anyone else has insights about heart of tech or any other georgia colleges, drop 'em here! let's keep this convo going and learn from each other! 🌟

smh omg, y'all! 🎭 as a theater major at heart of tech college, i just had to jump in on this thread! graduating from hotc was truly a rollercoaster of emotions for me. From the late-night rehearsals to the adrenaline rush of performing on stage, it was an experience like no other. The sense of community and collaboration among my fellow drama majors made it feel like one big supportive family.

When I think back on my time at HoTC, I can't help but feel grateful for all the opportunities I had to grow both as an artist and as a person. The faculty and staff were so invested in our success, always pushing us to reach our full potential. I'm curious to hear from other recent grads from HoTC - how did your experience shape you as a performer? Did you find support in pursuing your passion after graduation? Any tips for navigating the post-college theater world would be greatly appreciated! Can't wait to read everyone's stories and maybe connect with some fellow theatre buffs! Break a leg, y'all!
