Hey folks, just Spelman junior here wading through the wonderful world of biochemistry. When I'm not bonding with molecules in the lab, you'll find me hanging out with the equally enthusiastic science club members on campus. But Kinda weird for science nerd to pen novel, know. But trust me when say, the laws governing plotlines and characters are as complex as quantum mechanics! While juggling between titrations and character arcs has been quite an adventure, it’s the quest of getting published that's proved to be my real litmus test. It seems like every publishing house out there is tougher to crack than my organic chemistry finals! Mean, how does one convince them that your story (conceived during late-night lab sessions) deserves space on their bookshelves? So just wondering if there are any other aspiring writers in this big bad world of academia who can relate? Mean, On another note, politics is something that’s always intrigued me. I’m considering diving into it by majoring in political science at Georgia State University. But before making this quantum leap (see what did there? Thought it’d be good to gather some insider intel. Anyone here familiar with their Poli Sci department? Any insights into what should expect or prepare for?
