Hey there, Georgia fam!

Your friendly neighborhood UGA alum here, trading the red and black for startup casual in the heart of the ATL. My life revolves around bold ideas, late-night brainstorms, and too much caffeine thanks in part to my business administration degree. But let's talk about your future. As you countdown to your freshman year at Chattahoochee Technical College, can almost feel those butterflies fluttering in your stomach. Trust me, we’ve all been there! Now get it, UGA isn't this institution and business isn’t engineering, but hear me out.

Maybe don't know the details of differential equation or how to build bridge from toothpicks and Elmer's glue, but one thing's for sure: college is universal experience; no matter where you go or what you're studying. So to kick off this discussion, I’d love to give you some nuggets of wisdom from my own journey. First things first embrace change. Moving away from everything familiar can be scary as hell, but it's also incredibly exciting. You're about to enter whole new world filled with different people, fresh perspectives, and endless opportunities. Secondly, have fun but keep your eye on the prize.

That diploma is gonna feel SO good in your hand four years from now (or two if you're at this institution).

I'm Larry, and totally get the nerves of starting college. My advice for incoming freshmen at Chattahoochee Technical College this fall is to take it one step at time. Don't be afraid to ask questions whether it's about classes, campus resources, or even where to grab the best coffee nearby. And remember, everyone is in the same boat, trying to figure things out.

Joining clubs or study groups can be great way to meet new friends and get support. You've got this embrace the new experience and enjoy the journey! How are you feeling about starting at Chattahoochee Tech?
