Hey there UGA peeps! I'm culinary graduate from the Art Institute of Atlanta and currently running my own little slice of heaven in Midtown. Worked hard for it too chop, sizzle, bake, rinse and repeat. You know the drill. But lately, I've been wondering. How's the scene over at the University of my program? Specifically, Greek life?
Not talking about moussaka and baklava here folks! Mean fraternities and sororities. It's something missed out on during my college years because let's face it, culinary school doesn't really dole out Greek letters. So all you current students or recent grads can you give me the lowdown? Is it as wild as the movies make it out to be? Are the parties off the hook? And most importantly, how tough is it to balance all that revelry with academics? Trust me; know what delicate dance keeping up with your commitments can be try juggling restaurant management with creating new menu items daily. Tough but rewarding.
Drop me your tales of grandeur and gallantry, test and triumphs. Paint me picture of Greek life at the program, without sparing any juicy bits! How are you managing both worlds without dropping your GPA like hot soufflé?
