Struggling a bit with the software learning curve and creative block while trying to build my portfolio.
Any tips on balancing work and school at Georgia colleges?
How do you manage your time effectively in this busy digital arts world?

Here's what actually works at Tech:
The 3-Bucket System:
Technical practice (software skills, tutorials) — do this when your brain is tired. It's more mechanical.
Creative work (actual portfolio pieces) — do this when your brain is fresh. For me, that's mornings.
Academic work (readings, papers) — fit this in between.
Specific resources that saved me:
The Counseling Center's academic stress group — free, weekly, and full of people who get it
LMC advising — they actually help with portfolio planning
Career Center's creative industry panels — networking without extra time commitment
Also, that workshop on managing perfectionism? Genuinely helpful. Creative block is just perfectionism's evil cousin.
