I'm looking at Georgia State's Perimeter College because I work full-time. A review on Niche caught my eye: "My overall experience thus far is very good, great for someone who works full time as well because of the flexibility. This college allows us to choose classes from any location and offers alot of online courses as well!" . This sounds perfect, but I'm cautious. Is the flexibility real, or are online classes harder to manage? Are professors understanding of non-traditional students? 🫠

I took Perimeter classes while working nights. The asynchronous format saved me. I could watch lectures at 2 AM after my shift.

The professors were hit or miss. Some were amazing. Some treated online classes like an afterthought.

Read RateMyProfessor before you register. Filter by online classes. Look for reviews from other working adults.

The flexibility is real. But not all professors are created equal. Do your research. You'll be fine.
