I'm high school counselor over in Roswell, and I've got some bright-eyed students interested in marine mechanics. Flint River Technical College's Marine Engine Technology program has caught our eye. Mean, where else in Georgia can you learn to fix boat engines? That's just cool. Has anyone here taken this course? If so, how hands-on is it? Were you able to snag job pretty quickly after graduating? And what was the vibe on campus like? I've also got student headed to Emory any insights into dorm life and meal plans would be appreciated.
