Feeling Stuck: How Do You Overcome Writer's Block?

Hey there, fellow college parents and students! So, I've got kiddo at Morehouse studying political science it's his first year. Lately, he's been swamped with papers and struggling with some serious writer's block. You know how it is. You sit down to write, and suddenly you're counting ceiling tiles or cleaning your room instead of typing? That's him right now. So yeah, remember my own bouts with writer's block when was in college. Goodness knows how many hours spent staring blankly at the typewriter (yes, typewriter). But I’ve realized that sometimes the old tricks don’t work anymore. Maybe he needs to try something new? Anyone have any novel tips or techniques for overcoming the dreaded writer’s block? On different note, I've been contemplating transferring to Valdosta State University. Yes, me the mom! Never too late, right? But I'm wondering about the social scene there. Like are there lots of clubs or organizations to get involved in? I'm not exactly looking for wild parties (leave that to the kids), but more like some cool adult learning communities or maybe even some book clubs? Any insider info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, y'all! In the midst of this busy life of ours, let's not forget to write our own story, even if we occasionally hit roadblock.
