Hey guys, how tough is the admissions process at Southwest GA Technical College?

My kid is wrapping up his first year at Savannah State University (what rollercoaster of emotions that has been, am right? And now find myself in the trenches again with my youngest.

She's got her eyes set on Southwest Technical College. As proud as am, the parental paranoia is creeping back in. Got to love it! Have to admit, I'm bit clueless about how tough the admissions process at this technical college is? Mean, can anyone give me some insider details? What's my baby girl going to be up against? And once she gets in (fingers crossed! What's she actually walking into? Is it study-till-you-drop sort of scene or more like balanced workload? My daughter is pretty serious about her studies but also values her downtime. Girl needs her Netflix, after all! Also, could someone break down the vibe for me?

You know what mean friendly atmosphere or every-man-for-himself kind of deal? By the way, on an entirely different note, got any Georgia State University alum here who could enlighten me about their study abroad opportunities? My nephew is planning on applying there. That boy has some serious wanderlust! Anyway, thanks in advance for any tidbits you can throw my way.

Admissions at Southwest GA Tech ain't too bad, but paperwork can be a headache. As a CS senior, I feel ya on the burnout! How's your experience been with deadlines and stuff? Hang in there! 💻📚. 😩
