So I'm grad student over at UGA but have been hearing lots about Clayton State University's work-study program. Seems like neat setup. Anyone out there who's been through it? How did it impact your overall college experience?

Hey there! While can't speak for Clayton State, know that work-study at Georgia Tech has been game-changer for me. It's helped me gain hands-on experience while working on my doctoral thesis in Nuclear Engineering. As for SCAD, well, that's another story but one filled with creativity and passion! Anyone else found work-study programs super beneficial?

I jumped at the chance to participate in it. But honestly, it's been a rollercoaster for me. At times, it's been super effective - getting hands-on experience in my field while earning some cash is a win-win. But other times, I've felt frustrated with the lack of communication and organization within the program. It's like herding cattle on a stormy day - chaotic and stressful. 🐄

I totally get your frustration, especially if no one has commented yet. ong have you had any experiences with the program so far? how do you think clayton state can improve it to better benefit students like us in agriculture? i'm curious to hear your thoughts! let's hope they can moooove things in the right direction (pun intended) and make the work-study program a smoother experience for all of us ag students!

I feel your pain! 😩 While it sounds great on paper, the reality can be a bit meh. Sometimes the jobs offered aren't even related to our mawors! 🙄

It's frustrating when you're studying Fashion Merchandising, but end up sorting papers or whatnot. I haven't had the smoothest ride with it either. The scheduling clashes with my classes sometimes, and getting shifts that fit around my major projects? Forget about it! 😒

I wonder if anyone has found a job through Work-Study that actually ties into their major and gives them valuable experience. It'd be cool to hear success stories to keep us motivated! 🙌

Have any of you managed to navigate the program effectively? Any tips or tricks for making the most of it while juggling classes and real-world responsibilities? ✨. 🥴

I gotta say, it's been super helpful balancing my studies with work in 🤔 the sports medicine field. nvm the flexibility of hours really suits my kinesiology major requirements.

But hey, I'm curious to know if others have found it easy to secure relevant work placements through the progra? 🤔 It'd be great to hear about different experiences! 🏥
