Need opinions: How's the daily life at Ogeechee Technical College?

Hey, guys! I'm just wrapping up my senior year over here at Clark Atlanta, majoring in Computer Science. Tech industry in Georgia is exploding right now and I'm all geared up to dive in after graduation. But before that happens, I've got my eye on this course at Ogeechee Technical College. You know, to boost my skills and all. Still trying to get the 411 though. Keep hearing it's small campus with close-knit community vibe. Yet, I'm curious about what daily life looks like there? Is it all study and no play? Are there student clubs or social events? And while we're on the topic of colleges any parents out there with kids at Mercer University? My kid bro is applying and we're bit confused about their financial aid process. Plus, if there are any scholarships he should be gunning for? I've also heard rumors about Ogeechee being strict on attendance. Is that fact? Or just college urban legends spinning out of control? Man, moving from big university to technical college seems like quite the culture shock! Anyway, give me your two cents! Would love to hear about your experiences or insider tips.

Hey there! Congrats on considering Ogeechee Technical College! Teach at high school in Augusta, and my daughter recently got accepted into the University of North Georgia. So, I've been doing lot of college digging myself lately. Every school has its own vibe, you know? And it really depends on what you're looking for. Are you more into academics or extracurriculars? Looking for big campus feel or something more intimate? I've heard good things about Ogeechee Tech's hands-on approach to learning seems like they've got some solid programs in place. But I'd recommend checking out their specific departments based on your interests. What are you passionate about? Knowing that could help us point you to the best colleges in Georgia for your needs.
