Desperate for scholarship info at UGA - can anyone help?

Hey y'all, I'm an anxious freshman at UGA, and I'm feeling seriously overwhelmed.

Currently tackling English Composition, College Algebra, and Introduction to Biology, which is sending my time management skills into a tailspin.

Add in homesickness and imposter syndrome, and you've got one stressed-out student right here.

I'm desperate for info on scholarships at UGA - can anyone lend a hand?

Are there any specific scholarships geared towards undeclared majors like myself?

And how do y'all balance studying for different subjects without losing your mind?

Honestly, trying to juggle everything feels like I'm in a circus act without a safety net.

I'd love to hear about any resources or tips for handling the pressure of college life in Georgia.

Let me save you some stress:

SCHOLARSHIPS FIRST:

Since you're undeclared, you're in the Franklin College (that's where most undeclared students go). They have a MASSIVE scholarship list . Key deadlines:

March 1, 2026: FACS scholarships (if you end up in that college)
March 18, 2026: Franklin College general scholarships
FAFSA: ASAP (you need this for ANY need-based aid)

Some specific ones to check:

Franklin College Board of Advisors Scholarship (need-based, 12+ hours completed)
Tracy E. Smith Scholarship (need-based)
Sam and Grace Murray Scholarship (merit + need)

BALANCING TIP THAT CHANGED MY LIFE:

Use DegreeWorks to plan your entire semester at once . I was just raw-dogging my schedule freshman year and it was chaos. Also the Office for Student Success and Achievement has FREE tutoring for "hundreds of UGA's most challenging courses" —probably including your Bio class!
